Learning how to import the right way, the hard way

Copy as DNG – canon and nikon have a different ending when we shoot in RAW.  If we want to combine photos from different types of camera we use "copy as DNG"
Copy – your images will be in lightroom but you will have a copy depending in which folder you will save them.
Move –your images will move from source directory to a specified location in original file format.
Add - files will not copied or moved to a new location, instead LR will just move them to the catalog you are using.

Landscape

Canon 6D versus T3i

1. What is the difference between a Full Frame Camera and a Crop Sensor?A full frame sensor is a sensor equal in size to 35mm film. Going back to 1908, 35mm has been the gold standard for film size due to it’s cost to quality ratio. A crop sensor is just what it sounds like; it’s a sensor that produces a cropped version of what a full frame sensor will pick up.

2. What are five advantages of the 6D compared to a T3i? low noise at high ISO, Great image quality, great color depth, wide dynamic range, and Has in-camera HDR.

3. What makes the autofocus of the Canon 5D Mark III better than that of the 6D?
The EOS 5D Mark III has a 61 point AF array with up to 41 cross-type AF sensors (depending on the maximum aperture of the lens mounted on the camera). Along with the EOS 1D-X, it has Canon’s most advanced autofocus system. And The EOS 6D has an eleven point autofocus (AF) array with one cross-type AF sensor in the centre.
